Planning your Summer or Fall ATV Getaway in Washburn County

Over 100 miles of scenic ATV trails make Washburn County a premier destination for your summer or fall getaway. Trails wind through dense Northwoods forests, along rivers and streams, and through some of the most ATV-friendly towns in the midwest.

If you’re up for a little adventure, plan to pick up your new ATV Scenic Tour brochure to find some interesting spots along the trail. Scenic tour stops include a hidden stone archway, Lost Lake Swamp (legend has it, a derailed locomotive is buried in the swamp from the early 1900s), a scenic overlook of the Namekagon River: Wisconsin’s Moving National Park and many others. In the new edition (available in late April) the new “Casey Loop Section”, just west of Trego, is included and offers some new stops.

ATV-friendly lodging is easy to find, just visit our ‘ATV Friendly Lodging page’ at https://www.washburncounty.org/services/category/atv-lodging. To start planning your trip, be sure to order your free ATV packet which includes an ATV map, ATV-friendly lodging sheet, Visitor Guide, and an all-new ATV Scenic Tour brochure (soon to be available!).
